Oregon Cannon Beach is named for the cannon that washed ashore from a shipwrecked schooner (hence Schooner's Cove Inn) in 1846. Cannon Beach was named the Best Overall Beach of the Northwest in "America's Best Beaches".

Ecola State Park, known for its beautiful vistas, trails and the five mile drive through lush forest. Ideal for picnics, hiking and photography.
