Haystack Rock
is one of Oregon’s most recognizable landmarks. It rises 235 feet from the edge of the shoreline. At low tide, you can walk right up to it and find colorful sea stars and other fascinating creatures. Puffins can be observed on Haystack Rock from early spring to mid-summer. In the summer months there are interpretive guides to help visitors appreciate the large variety of sea life.

Ecola State Park, wrapping around Tillamook Head, between Seaside and Cannon Beach, the park stretches along 9 miles of coastline. Visitors will enjoy picnicking, tidepooling, surfing and the amazing wildlife. Sightseeing opportunities begin the moment you enter the park. The entrance road meanders through a lush Sitka spruce forest, eventually opening up to a grassy bluff offering breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean.

Galleries featuring bronze sculptures, wood carvings, pottery, photography, watercolors, and jewelry. Spend a day strolling through the many different galleries -- there is something for everyone.

Restaurants - From local fare to five star restaurants there is something for everyone. There are also wonderful bakeries, coffee shops and candy stores to discover. When you visit we'll tell you our favorites.

Coaster Theater - featuring wonderful local talent, offers year round shows with stage plays, music concerts, and special events.
Explore Cannon Beach,
Oregon. The town is
named for the cannon
that washed ashore from a shipwrecked schooner
(hence Schooner's Cove Inn) in 1846. Cannon
Beach is one of the most popular destinations on
Oregon Coast due to it's sandy beaches and scenery.
